Adults: Opera Insights
PRE-OPERA LECTURES
Spend thirty minutes with a member of Chicago Opera Theater’s artistic team prior to the opera and receive a primer on what you are about to experience. Lecturers include the our internationally known directors, conductors, vocal coaches, along with our Director of Musical Studies, Scott Gilmore, and other esteemed musicians, scholars, artists and collaborators with COT. Lectures focus on artistic, musical and historical elements of the current production and allows for a question and answer session. (All pre-opera lectures are free with your opera ticket)
